A CELEBRATION OF OUR RESILIENCE Ten-Year Valley Fire Commemoration in Middletown Celebration of Our Resilience: 10-Year Valley Fire Commemoration Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025 Time: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM Locations: Middletown Square Park, Downtown Middletown, Middletown Art Center Admission: Free and open to the public Event Description: Join us for A Celebration of Our Resilience, a special community gathering commemorating the 10-year anniversary of the Valley Fire. Hosted by the Middletown Area Merchants Association (MAMA), the Middletown Art Center (MAC), and Cal Fire, this event is a time to reflect, remember, and reconnect. The evening will include a formal ceremony, community storytelling, local food, arts programming, and family-friendly activities. This is a free event for all ages. Schedule of Events: 4:00 – 6:00 PM Valley Fire Commemoration CeremonyLocation: Middletown Square Park Includes opening music, remarks by local and state leaders, a plaque dedication, poetry, and open mic stories from the community. 5:30 – 7:00 PM Middletown Food Walk Location: Downtown Middletown & Park Area Stroll through downtown and enjoy small bites from local restaurants and vendors. Guests can collect stamps on their Food Walk Passport and enter to win local prizes. 6:30 – 10:00 PM Community Resilience Through the Arts Location: Middletown Art Center Enjoy an evening of art, music, poetry, and a community dance. Art activities and a special exhibition will be open to all ages. 7:30 PM Movie in the Park: The Wild Robot Location: Middletown Square Park Bring your chairs and blankets for an outdoor family-friendly screening.
