DESCRIPTION:The Clear Lake Flying Club will begin its first Introduction to Aviation course for young individuals from 9-13 years old on Sunday\, January 19\, 2025 at 1pm.\n\n \n\nThe series of classes consists for four 2 hour classes\, one per month\, culminating in the EAA Young Eagles rally which takes place as part of the 2025 Clear Lake Splash In.\n\n \n\nAt the rally\, young people will have the opportunity to take a flight in an airplane on the morning of Saturday\, April 26\, 2025.\n\n \n\nThere is no charge for the course or the flights.\n\n \n\nSpace is still available.\n\n \n\nTo participate\, contact Herb Lingl\, Education Director of the Clear Lake Flying Club at https://aerialarchives.com//contact-flyingclub.htm.\n\n \n\nThe Clear Lake Flying Club\, Inc. is a California not for profit corporation dedicated to promoting education about aviation in Lake County and is producing the 2025 Clear Lake Splash In.
