SUMMARY:Guided Nature Walk and Tour at Anderson Marsh
DESCRIPTION:The next "Second Saturday" Guided Nature walk at Anderson Marsh State Historic Park will be held on Saturday\, September 12\, 2026. The Guided Walk will begin at 8:30am. Bring binoculars and meet in the parking lot at 8:15am for an opportunity to observe the birds and other wildlife found in the picnic area. Sturdy shoes\, a hat and water are suggested. The September guided walk will be led by State Parks volunteer docent Roberta Lyons and will provide an opportunity to observe wildlife at the park and learn about their natural habitat\, as well as to learn about the natural and cultural history of the area. The walk will take between 1  and 2 hours\, depending on the route taken. Dogs are not allowed on the park trails. A tour of the historic Anderson Ranch House will be available immediately after the conclusion of the walk.
