Guided Nature Walk at Anderson Marsh

The next monthly guided nature walk will be held on Saturday, July 11 at 8:30 a.m. The Walk will be led by Henry Bornstein, a volunteer state parks docent and a Certified California Naturalist. The walk will provide an opportunity to observe wildlife at the park and learn about their natural habitat, as well as to learn about the natural and cultural history and geology of the area. The Guided Walk will last between 1-1/2 and two hours, depending on the route taken. A tour of the interior of the historic Anderson Ranch House will be available immediately after the conclusion of the walk. Walks begin at 8:30am. Meet in the parking lot at 8:15am for an opportunity to observe the birds and other wildlife found in the picnic area. Dogs are not allowed on the park trails.
